Tomorrow, July 10, the Federal Communications Commission will vote on a proposed rulemaking to establish a new $100 million “Connected Care Pilot Program” to support telehealth for low-income Americans, including those living in rural areas and veterans.
LGBT Tech continues to voice support for programs that ensure LGBTQ+ Americans, especially those living in rural communities are connected. One of the major reasons connectivity is so important is so LGBTQ+ have access to high-quality, inclusive healthcare.
Several groups support and applaud the effort. See the document from Comm. Carr's office here.
