eHealth Initiative and Foundation Releases Draft Consumer Framework for Health Privacy

Today, the eHealth Initiative and Foundation released their Draft Consumer Framework for Health Privacy, a resource that according the eHI website "would increase protections for consumer health data that falls outside the protection of HIPAA." The Framework was first announced earlier today at 3:00 PM on a webinar hosted by eHI. LGBT Tech is proud to have served on the Steering Committee for this valuable Framework, and we look forward to impact it will have on protecting individual data privacy.
