LGBT Tech at Creating Change Conference 2024

LGBT Tech’s team returned from a successful week exhibiting at the Creating Change Conference this past week in New Orleans, LA. The conference, hosted by the National LGBTQ+ Task Force, provided a unique opportunity for both our Programs and Policy teams to connect with dozens of extraordinary LGBTQ+ organizations and individuals from all over the world. At our exhibit booth we were able to share resources and information about our PowerOn Community and Individual Tech Grants, our Paths STEAM Mentorship Program, and we connected people with important advocacy related information about the FCC’s Affordable Connectivity Program and other critical work being done by our policy team here at LGBT Tech.

We were thrilled to have so many incredible conversations and connect with both new and old partners alike. A highlight of our exhibit booth throughout the conference was getting to see individual, first-hand responses from attendees to the Tech Question of the Day boards we had displayed at our booth. Below you can see the photo of some of the attendee’s responses for our question, “Are There Any Digital Tools, Platforms, or Technologies You Actively Rely on or Actively Avoid?”  A sincere thank you to The Task Force for hosting such a dynamic and impactful conference. We are looking forward to attending Creating Change 2025 in Las Vegas, NV next year!
