LGBT Tech is excited to announce that co-founder and board president Joe Kapp has been appointed Chair of the Smithsonian’s Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage Advisory Council. Joe, a long-standing advocate for cultural preservation, innovation, and diversity, brings his wealth of experience in community building to this prestigious role. His leadership at the Center will focus on preserving and amplifying diverse cultural traditions from around the world, with a particular emphasis on promoting sustainable cultural practices and fostering global partnerships that drive both creative and economic growth.
